​ “What Is Art” is a cinematic love letter to Baltimore’s creative soul—conceived and produced by Tonya R. Miller Hall as the project’s creative brainchild. Featuring an all-star cast led by legendary native son André De Shields, the film celebrates the city’s artistic brilliance and won two ADDY Awards for Best Internet Commercial and Best A/V Sales Promotion.

Featured stories include: an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Gervonta "Tank" Davis’ homecoming fight and the lead-up to the main event; the celebrated return of contemporary artist Derrick Adams and his homecoming exhibition; and Building Baltimore, a short film highlighting the reinvention of Lexington Market—America’s oldest public market.
